What we collect
Your name, email, and password (stored securely); the videos and lectures you learn with; your quiz answers, scores, and folders; and the HUD theme you choose.
How we use it
Only to run Retain for you: creating checkpoints and quizzes, grading answers, giving Nova's hints, and tracking your retention.
AI processing
Lecture transcripts and answers are sent to trusted AI providers through enterprise services that do not use your content to train their models. Results are only shown to you.
Retain Companion extension
The extension only reads captions or audio from the lecture you are watching to prepare checkpoints. It does not track your browsing or read other pages.
Payments
Stripe processes all payments. We only receive your plan status, never your card details.
Cookies and storage
We only use essential storage for sign-in, your theme, and study progress. No advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Your choices
You can delete lessons and folders anytime. To delete your account and all data, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.
Age
Retain is for learners 13 and older.
